These are not lectures, they are interactive and hands-on sessions that provide you dedicated time to practice and implement what we're working through.
Storytelling Like Our Abuelitas: Offered as a Mini Retreat & Virtual Workshop
Our culturas remain so strong within us because of the stories that our elders tell us. The conversations, the early mornings & late nights over a cup of cafecito de olla.
The art of public speaking is something we grow up with and it helps us hold on to the beautiful parts of our families & cultures.
While our abuelitas' stories are not in textbooks or her methods of communication aren’t often studied or praised in the art of public speaking, they live within us and the power with which they were told, is a direct connection to our own power as public speakers.
In this workshop, we’re channeling our abuelitas form of story-telling to inform how we tell our story.
The Latina, Presente Collective
Intentionally hosted on a video-first platform, the Latina, Presente Collective is our virtual stage to practice our speaking, free of pressure, and in community.
Wether you have an upcoming gig and want to practice out loud or want to engage in our weekly practice prompts, learning sessions, or weekly office hours you'll receive real-time feedback, resources to grow your speaking skills, support in your speaking career, and be in community with other speakers.

How it works:

The Practice: Block 15 minutes on your calendar. We provide the space; you simply show up (think body-doubling to make sure we're getting that practice in, working on our speaker brand, or pitching ourselves as speakers).

Weekly Guide: We’ll send a guide each week to help structure your practice session.

Live Practice: Join the Zoom room to practice alongside the community. It’s cameras on, muted; just creating a supportive environment where we are simply "there" for one another.

Expert Advice: Submit questions or requests for advice throughout the month.
Monthly Bonus: At the end of each month, join our Free Office Hours where our Founder & Public Speaking Consultant, Yvonne, will answer all your submitted questions live.
